High is right up my Street!

Hi Guys!

Today I am going to take us in to the wonderful world of high street fashion!
When I tell people that I am a lover of fashion and nice things, they instantly suspect that I am the "slam dunk your paycheck on a pair of Louboutins on pay day" kind of girl. Errrm not quite! Enough about high end stuff! Let's indulge in high street. As a frequent high street consumer, I know first hand that it's not about where you got it from but rather, how you wear it!

My favourite high street store is Zara. I absolutely love Zara. I have always said that they are a  "luxury brand with affordable prices". The quality of clothes and accessories never seize to impress me. I shop at other high street stores such as H&M who I think are doing fantastically well in the fashion world right now, Topshop, River Island, Primark and even online retailers like ASOS.

Well, I have been researching and have seen some pieces that have really caught my eye for the coming months.

Primark Summer 2013 Floral Maxi Skirt
Primark: Maxi Skirt

This maxi skirt is great for summer and on holiday. Love the flower prints, it's more interesting than your usual one colour maxi and would go well with a simplistic statement such as a white tank top/vest.

Primark Summer 2013 Monochrome Heels
Primark: Monochrome heels

I must say, what Primark have in store for us this summer is quite impressive.

Zara: £69.99

Love this check print coat from Zara and the colour too! doesn't it just brighten up your day? It actually reminds me of the check theme from Louis Vuitton's SS/13 collection! Brill!

Beauty-full News! Part 3

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I have posted on here - I know, no excuses right?!! I am so sorry, my world in the last few weeks has been hectic. From my fantastic internship at Stylist Magazine to my inspiring chat with the lovely Arieta Mujay (PR Manager at River Island) I even had a couple of days with the bug :-( what a horrible experience. Nevertheless, the world of Fashion and Beauty never stops and therefore,  I have so much things to show and tell you guys, so ensure that you keep up with posts!

On this bright and sunny Tuesday, I thought I would feed you guys with 2 beauty treats to be excited about!

Michael Kors to launch colour cosmetics line

Now we can all agree that Mr Kors has been driving this American empire through a very smooth and successful road. What better idea than to launch a cosmetics range too? We are extremely pleased and excited at the fact that we will at some point, have a lipstick or blusher somewhere in our handbags from Micheal Kors!

My Super 8!

Hi Guys,

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter! Friday and Monday was definitely needed as a break, though I'm back in the office and cannot believe it's all over and so quickly!

Right now I would like to invite you to come along with me on a journey into the world of luxury! High-end and high fashion at it's best!
I have seen 8 of my favourite pieces from various designers for the Spring and Summer months! So let's have a look see at the ones that stood out for me the most..

Silk-Satin wide leg trousers by Maiyet
We can all agree that the colour of these beauties pretty much speak for itself. The material indicates lightness in weight, which means it's perfect for summer!

Cut Out Leather Sandals by Nicholas Kirkwood
I am absolutely in love with these sandals. It doesn't always have to be flat sandals you know! why not try blocked heeled ones!

The Falabella Boucle Shoulder bag by Stella McCartney
I must admit I do love Stella's bags. This is a another version of her well known Falabella bags. I love the gold chain that runs through the entire bag. Works well carried on the beach because of the basket patch type material or on a night out as it still holds it's sheekness for that!

Striped Cotton-blend Blazer by Lanvin

The year of the Monochrome! Love this blazer. I think it can be worn with pretty much anything, I'm thinking RED! Red wide leg trousers that is.

Embellishes Suede Sandals by Givenchy
In the words of Rihanna, "Heels Givenchy, huh?" haha! Yep definitely! Love these handsomes! They look classy as ever. Put me in a pair of leather pants and slip me in a pair of these and I'm good to go!

1984 Textured Leather Shoulder Bag by Marc Jacobs

...And here we have a vibrant looking bag, perfect for spring/summer. It's one of those bags that one just carries with anything on a bright and sunny day. Love. A must have I say.

Honeycomb Jacquard Jacket by Alexander McQueen
Glam, glam and pure glam. Sarah Burton always gives us something to be astonished about! This bumble bee inspired blazer would give you the wow factor as soon as you walk into that room for sure!

Draped printed silk-blend lamé gown by Lanvin
Yummy! Love this maxi dress.Wonderful during the summer months or on a sun, sea and sand holiday. Make a bold statement by standing out in this flower printed dress!
